You know that game you’ve always wanted someone to make? I got tired of waiting. I couldn’t code. I was just a gamer with an idea. Nineteen days later, I could step inside it.

This is Eternal Expanse, a 3D online world where you can explore a planet, build a home, and fly your own ship. And you can join me. That was the dream: a world we could actually play in together.

AI helped me build it. But it wasn’t one magic prompt. Things broke. I learned what worked, saved the fixes, and turned them into tools I could use again. That grew into a toolkit: simple guides, reusable AI skills, scripts, and specialist helpers, built from making this game and expanded since.

If you’ve got a dream game stuck in your head, you can start too. Come play Eternal Expanse. Want to build your own world? Start with my free guide at eternalexpanse.com.

Got a world stuck in your head?

You don’t have to understand every line of code to start. You do need a way to turn an idea into something that works—and keep going when it breaks.

SHIP IT is my free guide to that part. The real mistakes, the fixes worth keeping, and the habits that helped me finish.

Three habits from the guide
  1. 1Turn the big idea into a small, playable first step.
  2. 2Check what actually works for the person using it.
  3. 3Save the lesson so the next project starts ahead.

03 / Keep what works

The fixes became a toolkit.

The method kept growing after the game’s first release. The Builder Stack brings together 17 workflow skills, supporting scripts, and 20 specialist profiles you can reuse for the next project.

It includes the newer modeling, rigging, and animation workbenches, plus the repeatable video workflow behind the film above: a clear story, readable visuals, consistent narration, and music that leaves room for the voice.

Before you jump in Four quick answers
Can I play it now?

Yes. The Play button opens Eternal Expanse in your browser. Make an account and follow the game’s onboarding. It is an evolving multiplayer game; the live status above shows whether the world is reachable.

Did the whole thing happen in 19 days?

Nineteen days is the story of the original playable build. The game, tools, and lessons have continued to develop since. The guide covers that ongoing work too.

Do I need to know how to code?

The guide starts from a gamer’s perspective and explains the process in plain language. You can begin without a programming background, then learn how to give clear instructions, inspect results, and use the technical tools as you need them.

What is free, and what is paid?

The browser game and the complete SHIP IT guide are free. The Builder Stack is a separate $27 one-time purchase, with checkout and file delivery through Gumroad. Some tools used by the workflows require their own accounts or credits.
