How Build Notes uses your email
Newsletter signup and delivery only. This notice does not describe every feature of the game or website.
Joining is optional. SHIP IT stays free to read. Buying Builder Stack or creating a game account does not automatically join the newsletter.
A useful introduction, then occasional notes
Builder Stack uses MailerLite to run Build Notes, a short introduction followed by occasional project lessons and relevant product offers. Signing up is optional; SHIP IT remains free to read without joining.
Information we use
We collect your email address and, only if an optional name field is offered and you use it, your name. We keep the signup source, consent record and subscription status so we can send what you requested and respect your choices. MailerLite also processes delivery and service data needed to operate the newsletter.
Service providers
MailerLite processes newsletter data for us and uses service providers to deliver its platform. Its privacy policy explains its own service-data practices. Newsletter information is therefore shared with the providers needed to operate this service.
Purchases are handled separately
Gumroad handles any purchase, payment and order delivery separately under its own terms and privacy notice. Buying the Builder Stack does not automatically subscribe you to Build Notes.
Email measurement
MailerLite records which newsletter links are clicked so we can understand which topics readers find useful. We do not use an email-open tracking pixel in Build Notes.
This page contains no tracking or analytics code.
Unsubscribing
Use the unsubscribe link in any Build Notes email to stop the introduction and future newsletter messages. Unsubscribing does not affect your purchases or essential order messages from Gumroad.
Keeping subscription records
We keep subscription records while needed to provide the newsletter and manage your choices. After you unsubscribe, we retain the minimum suppression record needed to avoid adding you back accidentally. Requests to remove other newsletter data are handled through the contact below.

To request a copy, correction or deletion of your newsletter information, contact hello@eternalexpanse.com. We may need to verify that the request comes from the person associated with the address and explain any records retained for suppression or applicable requirements.
